Hello everyone. My name is Jiya, just a completely normal teenage girl trying to survive 12th boards, these freaking assignments - which clearly don't have any impact on our education and the emotional damage caused by online novels at 3 a.m.
What do you mean by the red flag ML got the girl, and the green flag second ML here is just for the audience's sympathy?
At least... that's what my life used to be.
Because apparently God looked at my miserable, boring life and said,
"Yeah, no. Let's play with her life and have some fun."
And that's how I ended up transmigrating into every story I had ever read online.
Sounds cool, right?
You are a psychopath if this sounds cool to you.
Because guess what?
I'm not the heroine in that novel. No, sweetheart, not a villainess, and not even the protagonist's tragic best friend.
I'm always a side character.
Yes, you heard that right.
The kind of side character that the author makes for a showpiece because what do you mean the ML enters and thousands of side characters are not drooling over him?
Oh, I didn't even tell you the worst part yet.
I can't even interfere with the main plot. Whenever an important scene starts, my body freezes like an NPC in a low-budget game, forcing me to stand there, watch, and give the most exaggerated, embarrassing expressions that exist.
Trust me, do you know how painful it is to watch characters make the dumbest decisions imaginable to mankind while you're physically incapable of stopping them?
It's not even like I want to stop them, but that's not the point. It's still very painful.
You get it right?
But wait, it gets worse.
Y'all will be asking what else she's going to whine about, but listen to me, this is important.
For some cursed reason, I can also see readers' comments floating above people's heads like live-stream chats.
And honestly? It's so cringey.
"OMG HE'S SO HOT π"
"Girl, stand up, he literally killed your family π"
"SECOND MALE LEAD DESERVES BETTER."
"Step on me, daddy."
"Why is this side character kinda pretty tho π"
So now, instead of peacefully living my tragic side-character life, I'm stuck travelling through fictional worlds, dodging death flags, suffering emotional damage, and reading the most embarrassing comments known to humanity.
